Aelin Gravity, aka AwkwardShadowThoughts,is a head-canon character of the Keeperverse and a canon character of the Goldfishverse. They are best friends with Charlotte O. and Cress Darnel. Aelin is best known for their scientifically proven (whatever Cress may say) theory of how the myth that defying gravity is impossible is simply not true, hence their surname.

Origin Story[]

Aelin was born in the world of Terrasen, and wasn't aware of the other dimensions for the first seven years of their life. They spent that time training to become a warrior, before meeting a wizard named Agad, who recruited her to use her ability as a Dragon Tamer to help stop the Dragon King, Celebrant. Afterwards, they fell down a rabbit hole and spent ten years in Wonderland. Of course, when they emerged on the top of Mt. Greylock, they still seemed like an eight-year-old. A wizard who had trained at the magical school Ilvermorny taught them to use magic, but soon realized that they weren't a wizard: they were a half-elf! (Their other half is Fae.) Realizing that they would need a lot of time to reach they full potential, the wizard gave Aelin a Time-Turner, and then contacted a member of the Black Swan to train them at Foxfire.

Within days of their acceptance to the noble school, Aelin manifested as a Flasher. But not just any kind of Flasher-their abilities allowed her to travel between dimensions. Now twelve and a Level Two, they used their Time-Turner to spend a full seven years at Hogwarts, where they were sorted as a Hufflepuff. Afterwards, they came back to Foxfire, and met some of their best friends. When Aelin was a Level Three, they manifested as a Psionipath, and trained as one for many years. Once they turned seventeen(not counting the time-traveling and time in Wonderland), they traveled through time and space to aid rebellions in worlds such as Norta, Panem, and Luna.

Afterwards, Aelin kept their young teenage form (which they keep to this day), and visited Camp Half-Blood, where they realized that their grandfather was the Greek god Hades. This resulted in a new-found ability, allowing them to visit the Underworld and communicate with spirits of the dead. They enjoyed camp and stayed for a long time, until Nick Fury arrived and asked them to join the Avengers. For a long time, Aelin was a key member to the team, and had a particularly strong alliance with Dr. Strange, as they could both manipulate time. As an Avenger, they took an adult form, and became known as the Northern Star. Their one true friend that she was sorry to leave behind was Wanda Maximoff (aka Scarlet Witch), but a quick spin of their Time-Turner and Aelin was forgotten. They have never revealed their reasons for leaving the Avengers.

On their way back to Foxfire to resume their Third Level, Aelin witnessed Wylie being attacked by the Neverseen. They helped him escape, and he gave them an Imparter. They started meeting up in the Forbidden Cities, and soon were in love. For a while, Aelin and Wylie were dating, but they parted ways after they realized that they fit better as friends and now, Aelin has almost completed her Fourth Year of Foxfire. They're very happy where she is and doesn't plan to leave the Keeperverse anytime soon (the Grishaverse intrigues her, though.) They are also boring you with this long origin story, so they will stop now, and let's get on with it.

Abilities[]

Aelin is a Flasher and a Psionipath, but she has also trained to be able to wield magic and travel to any point in the past or future, as well as any existing dimension. She is also a Teleporter, but she was born with that ability, and her teleportation is very different from Sophie or Silveny, although they all use the same void.

Relationships[]

Wylie Endal (Close Friend, Former Love Interest)[]

Wylie and Aelin met in Book 5: Lodestar, and while Wylie was in love with her at first sight, it took a few months before she became hopelessly devoted to him, as well. They dated for a long time, but broke up eventually. They are still very good friends, though.

Linh Song(Friend/Possible Love Interest)[]

Aelin and Linh have been very good friends for a while, but things are a little bit awkward for them now, because once, on a trip to the future, Aelin witnessed herself being in love with Linh.

Silveny(Friend/Possible Love Interest)[]

Aelin met Silveny in the void, and the two instantly bonded. Like Linh, though, Aelin has foreseen herself being Silveny's potential love interest.

Tam Song(Close Friend)[]

Aelin and Tam are both emo children, and were introduced by Linh. They have a lot in common, and love to spend time together.

Cress Darnel (Best Friend)[]

Cress and Aelin met as Level Twos at Foxfire, when they were both lost on their way to P.E. They bonded over the experience and formed a non-telepathic Cognatedom, similar to the Keefex Empath-Technopath Cognatedom. Through all of Aelin's time-traveling, she has kept in contact with Cress, and she trusts her more than anyone.

Charlotte O. (Best Friend)[]

Charlotte and Aelin are not quite ready to reveal the origins of their friendship just yet. It is rumored that they've been friends since before Foxfire, but others say that they met in Level 3, but it is common knowledge that they met during a particularly violent fistfight. (In other words, Charlotte, what should I put here??) (<-- i'm keeping this because its funny -char)
